Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in women, along with skin and lung cancer. According to the statistics given by BreastCancer.org, around 200,000 new cases of invasive and around 54,000 of non-invasive, breast cancer are predicted to be diagnosed in USA this year. Men are not completely safe, since less than 2,000 (roughly 1%) new cases of this cancer will likewise be diagnosed among them. Women of other ethnic backgrounds, like Asians, Hispanics and Native Americans have less chances of developing and dying from breast cancer compared to white American and African American women.
